Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

EnviroHill (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you interact with our website, https://envirohill.com (the “Website”), and our services. It should be read together with our Cookies Policy.

1. Who we are (data controller)

EnviroHill is the controller responsible for your personal data.

2. Information we collect

We may collect and process the following personal data:

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number and any other details you provide when you contact us by email or through the Website’s contact form.
  • Project and communication details: information you share about your building or project when requesting a quote, an introduction or an assessment.
  • Website usage data: technical information such as IP address, browser type, device and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookies Policy).

3. How we use your information — and our legal basis

Under the GDPR (AVG) we process personal data only where we have a legal basis to do so:

PurposeLegal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing. We may share data with:

  • Trusted service providers (processors) who perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, email and analytics — under agreements that require them to protect your data.
  • Authorities or advisors where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

International transfers. Some providers (for example Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Enquiries and correspondence that do not lead to an engagement are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and are then deleted. Records relating to agreements and our administration are retained for as long as required by law — for example, tax and accounting records are kept for the statutory period (currently seven years in the Netherlands). After the applicable period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website, remember your preferences and — with your consent — analyse usage. You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time. Full details are in our Cookies Policy.

7. Your data protection rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data;
  • Erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Restriction of processing;
  • Object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (this does not affect processing before withdrawal).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at tchillman@envirohill.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Automated decision-making

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
