Key Qualities You Can Expect Of Me As Your Assessor

BREEAM In-Use International Assessor
I support projects outside the Netherlands as both a licensed BREEAM In-Use assessor and expert. I assess all eligible building types—offices, homes, warehouses, retail, and schools. Please note: I do not currently cover projects in the UK, USA, Germany, Norway, Spain, or Sweden.
Frequently Asked Questions
As an assessor, I am only responsible for the quality check of your documents to ensure they meet BREEAM NL requirements. Achieving a specific certification score depends on the quality of your submission and is not guaranteed.
It usually takes me around 3 working days to review the expert’s submission. Once submitted, the DGBC performs a quality check, which may lead to comments or required changes. I’ll clearly outline the process and timelines upfront to keep everything on track.
Yes. Once the DGBC approves the assessment, they issue the official certificate. I’ll receive it directly and hand it over to you. Please note: I am not responsible for the score—it depends entirely on the submitted evidence and what the DGBC approves during their quality check.
Countries like the UK, USA, Germany, Norway, Spain, and Sweden have their own national BREEAM guidelines—just like the Netherlands. I only assess projects in countries that fall under the BREEAM In-Use International scheme.
