In Option 1, I take full responsibility as your BREEAM expert—you simply provide the necessary project input. In Option 2, you are the expert, and I act as your support: checking your work, helping write validations, and guiding you where needed.
If your goal is to gain hands-on experience, I highly recommend Option 2. It turns the certification into a learning process, and I’ll fully back you up throughout the journey.
No, BREEAM NL requires the Expert and Assessor to be independent. However, if you handle the Expert work yourself, I can act as your Assessor—this can streamline the process and save time. For BREEAM international it is allowed.
